The Study supports its Elementary School families by offering exciting, enriching, and bilingual After-School services which balance homework assistance and creative activities. Throughout the year, Study families can register their daughter(s) to the Extended-Day & Homework Supervision Programme, the After-School Activities, or both from one to five days a week.
The Extended-Day & Homework Supervision Programme provides an enriching bilingual environment for Elementary school students whose parents choose to have them play and complete homework together after classes. The Extended-Day & Homework Supervision Programme allows students from various grades to form friendships while enjoying nutritious snacks, age-appropriate playtime activities and homework time under the supervision of experienced bilingual animators. The Programme is offered at the end of every school day until 6 p.m., and caters to parents who choose to sign-up their daughters for full-time, part-time or drop-in sessions. Students who participate in the Extended-Day & Homework Supervision Programme can also register for After School Activities.
The After School Activities offer a series of fun and enriched dance, drama and learning activities for students in Kindergarten to Grade six. The dance activities include Ballet, Yoga, Funky Dance, and Kajukenbo. The drama activities, Spanish Drama and French Drama give students the chance to practice French or Spanish while exploring the world of theatre. The learning activities encourage fun and creativity all the while enhancing skills and expanding the mind. The learning activities Keyboarding, Mad Science, Chess and Mandarin as well as Study Skills and Learning Strategies, Fun In French, Fun In English, Atelier d’écriture française, Weizmann Math. These popular 60-minute activities run for eight and 11-week sessions and are led by specially trained animators.
