SENIOR SCIENCE
Study scientist wins Bronze at Nationals
Madison Meehan'14 brings home a Bronze Medal from the Canada-Wide Science Fair 2013 held in Lethbridge, Alberta May 11 - 18. She was also awarded a $1,000 entrance scholarship to Western University and a $100 cash prize sponsored by Youth Science Canada. Her project "Can Immodium affect Glioma?" received much praise.
STUDY MUSIC
Many honours @ Washington DC Music Festival
Congratulations to 57 Study musicians and choir members who received top honours, winning a total of eight awards at the Washington Heritage Music Festival. The 4-day road trip was clearly the highlight of their Study 2013 musical adventure.
STUDY ATHLETICS
GMAA tennis champions
Three medals go to Study students. Sarah Petrecca, in grade 8, returned gold medal winner in the midget singles category. The midget team took the overall silver medal. Julia Takacsy and Alexa Antoniazzi, in grade 10, returned bronze medal winners in midget doubles. More info & photos here.
