Exceptional student experience - Canada's Minister of Justice and Member of Parliament for LaSalle-Émard-Verdun, David Lametti, met with grade 10 and 11 Law classes as a guest lecturer online on Friday, February 12, to discuss new laws students think Canada should adopt.
Important topics such as Indigenous issues, drug policy and menstrual health were discussed. Minister Lametti gave constructive feedback to the girls on how to move forward with these potential new laws, both at the provincial and federal levels. Students were highly engaged and learned a lot from this experience.
Thank you Minister Lametti, and Law teacher Mr. Fitzpatrick for coordinating this guest lecture!
