On December 17th, The Study community tuned in from across the globe for our first ever virtual Holiday Showcase. It was a festive evening filled with delightful musical performances by students from Kindergarten to grade 11 as well as teachers and staff.
After a warm introduction by Head of School Kim McInnes and Arts Captains Meenakshi De and Chiara Ferri (both '21), students in Kindergarten to grade 6 performed Count On Me by Bruno Mars, playing many different instruments they learned this Fall, including the ukulele and xylophone!
The evening also included a performance of Feliz Navidad by the grade 7 and 8 band, and Jingle Bell Rock by the grade 9, 10 and 11 band. The Study's newly created Trillium Orchestra also had its first ever performance, a beautiful rendition of Hanukkah, Oh Hanukkah.
Study teachers and staff equally joined in on the festivities, with heartfelt holiday greetings, and by taking part in the showcase finale, Seasons of Love.
Thank you to our talented and dedicated music teachers Ms Tamburro and Ms Papamihelakis for their hard work putting together this concert. Thank you to Michael Emenau, father of Kai Emenau '21 for providing us with the wonderful songs to accompany our video transitions. And of course, thank you to all Study students and staff for your enthusiastic participation!
