June is by far one of the most exciting months of the year at The Study. It’s when one door closes and another one opens. The end of the school year is always followed by a number of memorable celebrations and annual traditions - something our “no ordinary” school has plenty of!
The Study started off its month of celebrations with a Final Assembly on June 4. Winners of subject-specific prizes, Merit Awards and many other special achievements were announced, including the House Awards. Next year’s Student Council also managed to convince Head of School, Mrs. Kim McInnes, to allow The Study to have a pet dinosaur!
Then on June 8, 24 of the youngest members of The Study family received their diplomas. Our Kindergarten students stood tall and proud in front of their teachers, Mme Line Benoit and Ms. Anna Kasirer, as well as Mrs. McInnes, and Elementary School Director, Ms. Amanda Liste. They proudly showcased all of their hard work by singing songs and their teachers showed a video of their very important milestones. The entire celebration was live streamed so parents could watch their daughters from home. And don't forget to tune in later in the month to hear more about our Grade 6 Celebration on June 14, followed by the Grade 11 Graduation Ceremony on June 18.
But the end-of-year celebrations don’t stop there! The Study Old Girls’ Association will be hosting their annual SOGA Send-off on June 17. This tradition welcomes the Grade 11 class as the newest members of SOGA. A wonderful way to say “au revoir” to the Class of 2021!
