Remembrance Day

Remembrance Day

On November 11, we honoured Remembrance Day at The Study, with a thoughtful and inspiring online assembly organised by Mme Senécal, Responsable du département Univers Social, and presented by Alexa C. '23. After an introduction by Head of School Mrs McInnes and a beautiful rendition of O Canada by Ella Rose C. '24, Alexa spoke about the importance of Remembrance Day and the meaning of taking the time to remember, on this day and throughout the year.

Groups of students shared important presentations with the school - poems, tributes to veterans, and historical information. As per our yearly tradition, Head Girl Sabine M. recited the poem In Flanders Fields, along with Grade 6 student Julie T, and the school observed a minute of silence.

Thank you to all students, from youngest to oldest, for participating in this year's Remembrance Day ceremony, and solemnly paying their respects to those who sacrificed for our freedom.
