Annual Giving FAQs

The Study's Annual Giving Campaign raises vital funds for The Study in support of annual operating needs. This campaign is essential to support the range and depth of the educational experiences and opportunities that we offer our students. Inspirational speakers for our leadership conference, new equipment for use in coding, robotics and science labs, travel expenses to public speaking contests, athletic and arts events, and enhancements for the Enrichment Center, Francozone and professional development for our faculty and staff, are just some of the programs supported by the Annual Fund.

You may designate, or direct, your gifts to our greatest needs fund (Head's Initiatives), Bursaries and Scholarships, the Active Outdoor Learning Spaces and other Facilities Enhancements, the General Endowment or more!

Contributions to the Annual Fund help to bridge the difference between the total cost of a Study education and the amount our families pay in tuition. Gifts to the Annual Fund help to keep our programs up to date and support important areas like bursaries and scholarships, library acquisitions, equipment, facilities enhancements, enriched student activities, professional development opportunities for our faculty and staff, and various urgent needs.

All of the above contribute to an intimate and attentive learning environment, where girls are challenged both intellectually and personally. They give your daughter access to a more enriched experience and greater opportunities that will enable her to grow, develop her gifts and carry her throughout her life.

It is through the generosity of our donors contributing to our Annual Fund and Endowment Funds that provides The Study with the tools and environment enabling your daughter to learn in an extraordinary school.

Participation is powerful and makes a difference. One hundred gifts of $50 provide $5,000 for student opportunities. We greatly value all gifts and know that each gift is carefully considered to achieve the maximum impact possible for our students. We encourage everyone to participate in supporting The Study's Annual Fund today. 

A high rate of participation, especially when repeated over many years, is both a fundamental and a traditional way that educational institutions are supported. When regularly recurring gifts are combined with the support of other donors, including major gift benefactors, foundations and bequests, everything is made possible at The Study.

Yes, because it is about participation and building community.

While many families make sacrifices in order to send their daughters to The Study, we still invite and encourage all families to participate in the Annual Giving Campaign in any way they can. All gifts to The Study will be issued a Charitable Tax Receipt.

You may make your gift online. You may also make your gift by cheque (made to The Study School Foundation) or cash.
